Let the Children Come!

Once upon a time in the gospels, parents were bringing their children to be touched by Jesus. The disciples discouraged this activity, but Jesus stepped in saying, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

Beginning on Mother’s Day, there will be a short time with the children as part of the worship.  The children will be invited to come forward and have a seat on the floor by me.  For little children, they may be more comfortable if a parent accompanies them.  I will share a message followed by a prayer with them.

I am looking forward to these special moments with the children in the Tiki Island community.
